To support this growth initiative, the newly formed College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Tulsa will significantly increase its faculty in the next 5 years and seeks inspired, driven faculty to join us in this mission.
The University of Tulsa is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a population of over 1,000,000 in the metro area.

The College of Engineering and Computer Science has a global reputation in Energy and Cyber Security with long-standing scholarship for service programs supported by the NSF and the National Security Agency.

The College is home to 52 tenured/tenure-track faculty and 18 teaching faculty and has six PhD programs, which produce excellent scientists and engineers for placement as professors and researchers at universities, industries across the nation and the world, and at national labs.
The College of Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with expertise in autonomous systems, included but not limited to autonomous decision making under uncertainty, hybrid dynamical system verification, run-time assurance, multi-agent systems, swarm intelligence, and vehicle autonomy.
The successful applicants will be required to teach; advise and mentor graduate students; develop a strong independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications Applicants must possess a doctorate in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
Applications by candidates from a range of technical disciplines, included but not limited to computer science, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering and mathematics will be considered.
Candidates with relevant non-academic experience are encouraged to apply.
