Overview:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for completing the design efficiently using the industry and organizational standards.
Electrical Engineers work with project leaders to implement conceptual designs, detailed designs, and associated documentation.
This role is able to complete simple design concepts independently and completes site visits with others.

Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000+ benefits.
Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility.
The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
Responsibilities:
Understanding design standards by studying standards and best practices on previous projects
Understanding of the design process and typical project flow through each of the disciplines
Working knowledge of at least one design discipline with some experience in cross training to another discipline/lane
Ability to incorporate design concepts and standards into deliverables on simple projects
Qualifications to visit sites by understanding safety and job-site visit best practices
Capability to complete deliverables using tools and software
Coordinates design issues by collaborating with project leaders
Collects and distributes information needed to complete design by working with project leaders, clients, and vendors

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: B.
S.
degree from a 4 year ABET Accredited Engineering program.
Preferred 1-3 years of experience; or a combination of education and experience.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements.
Generally, travel should not exceed 25% of your time.
