POSITION NAME: Human Resources Manager LOCATION: Tulsa, OK JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of HR experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of HR best practices.
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Principle Activities and Essential Functions: Partner with leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resources strategy as it relates to recruiting, retention, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
Oversee employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and employees.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, making hiring recommendations and ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, new hire benefit enrollment, retirement plans, insurance claims, and paid time off.
Develop, maintain, and improve documentation related to the HR function, including process and policy documentation, organizational charts, talent acquisition records, safety, and employee policies.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and recommended HR practices Possess a highly diplomatic and professional attitude towards managing interpersonal relationships with people at all levels.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
At least 7 years of progressive HR experience, construction industry experience a plus.
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
