The Tulsa based hospitality management company is seeking a General Manager for its boutique hotel, The Frontier Hotel located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
Our boutique hotel offers an opportunity for a manager who is seeking to learn more about the hospitality industry and be a part of something very progressive and exciting.
This full-time position is the perfect fit for anyone who is self-motivated, enjoys interacting with Guests, providing top notch customer service, and motivating a team of individuals to exceed Guests expectations.
Previous management experience and customer service experience is required.
Previous hotel experience and/or food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required.
The position requires a flexible schedule and an individual who can think fast on their toes, solve problems, motivate others, and handle a wide range of tasks while always remaining professional.
Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
Team Management: manage a team of 7 team members, Delegating, training, motivating, scheduling, hiring, communication, enforcing and implementing all company standard operating procedures.
Administrative duties: scheduling, some marketing, ordering, inventory, working with a revenue manager on hotel room rates.
General Duties: Managing 23 hotel rooms and coffee/beverage service, Guest interaction, checking Guests in/out, some financial reporting, reviewing daily reports, Guest satisfaction, Guest communication, inspecting housekeepers rooms after cleaning, working within the hotel management system, ensuring all shifts are scheduled, submitting all maintenance requests and managing these to completion, fill in shifts as needed, working closely with hotel management HR office, accountant and other management staff, negotiating rooms rates and contracts for large group room needs, working with vendors, ensuring all hotel and company standards are met at all times and working with management company for any needs to ensure this is always attainable, resolving all Guest complaints or issues
