Job Summary:
THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day activities, establishing and maintaining a coordinated Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) for the population of focus, organizing activities, managing events, providing services, and establishing communication between staff, departments, locations, communities, and agencies.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing grant activities and managing communication with the sponsor, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Sufficient to carry out specific job functions of a project manager.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health or equivalent
-A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
-Knowledge of basic accounting principles and business office/staff management
-Knowledge and skill in the use of computer applications in MS Windows environment.
-Skill in communicating courteously and effectively, including public speaking.
-Skill in maintaining accurate records and preparing various reports in a timely manner.
-Skill in presenting ideas and facts effectively and accurately.
-Skill and ability to participate and work as a team member.
Preferred:
-A Master’s degree in Mental Health
-Background in mental health, health care, and/ or academia
-Experience with federal grants and working with grant budgets
