As the Manager of the Forestry/Pruning Department, your role will entail leading and developing a team atmosphere committed to living out the mission and vision of RYAN Lawn & Tree.

In your capacity as the Department Manager, you will assume the responsibility of leading a team comprising five dedicated associates within the pruning department, with a focus on driving revenue generation exceeding one million dollars.
As Department Manager you will:
Develop an understanding of all the RYAN services offered
Confidently conduct team meetings and one on ones to communicate feedback, expectations, and goals
Set and meet annual, monthly, weekly and daily goals, budget forecasts
Foster an environment of innovation, and fresh ideas while balancing overall profitability of the forestry department
Collaborate with other department managers and directors to ensure your branch as well as your department achieves its goals
Prioritize and help plan work activities daily and lead change management
Teach and reinforce Ryan safety methods
Demonstrate interpersonal and customer service skills in a professional manner
Coach team members to grow their client base
Help Ryan continue to stand out in our industry
Requirements:
5-8 years of related experience in management and operations.
ISA Certified Arborist
Strong organizational and management skills
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office or Google apps
Must be motivated, ambitious, high energy, hardworking and want to make a difference
Current State driver's licenses with no violations
Able to obtain a Drivers Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Required)
