Friday* *COMPENSATION PER HOUR: $20-25 per Hour* *START DATE: Flexible* *THE OPPORTUNITY* The Warehouse Lead’s main function is to exhibit the skill of detail for fulfilling sales orders, boxing/assembling parts, cutting material, and shipping/receiving.
To be successful in our company you should be an active learner, creative, perceptive, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work unsupervised.
Top candidates will have exceptional critical thinking, time management and communication skills, an ability to handle multiple tasks, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace.
This is a full time position.
This position reports directly to the owners of the business, while also working closely with other members of the UA team.
*WHAT WE DO* United Axle is a franchised company specializing in axle repair.
The sister company, United Machine Alliance is a manufacturing company that services United Axle franchised locations with parts and tooling across the United States.
United Machine Alliance works directly with United Axle franchisees to help meet their needs as they perform axle repair services in their areas.

*WE WANT TO MEET YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE* * Punctual * Understanding of the needs of a parts warehouse/manufacturing company * Possess great communication skills * Trustworthy and can be counted on to safeguard confidentiality * Balanced temperament, not easily overwhelmed with competing demands * Quick learner and resourceful * Coordinate multiple efforts, simultaneously * Coachable, and receive feedback with ease * Detail oriented *THE ROLE* * Read and interpret sales orders * Pallet/Wrap/Box orders * Select parts and materials for assigned work orders * Maintain inventory organization and count * Responsible for the selection of proper material for machine cutting and operation of the saw * Operating forklift to load and offload trailers * Document discrepancy and issues per procedures * Perform preventive maintenance as required * Serve as team member and resource for other members of the UA Team * Actively participates in problem prevention and problem solving * Be available and receptive to all training for ongoing self-development * Responsible for keeping work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety and quality * Report any unsafe conditions and/or practices * Perform other duties as required *TOOLS YOU WILL USE* \*\*Helpful to be familiar with these, but willing to develop ideal candidates in specialized systems.
\*\* Cosen saws, forklift operations *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS* * Strong attention to detail * Ability to read and interpret design blueprints * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Ability to stand for extended periods * Ability to lift heavy objects *WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US* We do not micromanage.
