Walden /PCC aerostructural is seeking a seasoned *Quality manager at Tulsa, OK*
*\*\*\* Due to government contract and ITAR, US person status only \*\*\*\**
*This is machining facility for aerostructural component, *high speed machining, high torque machining for super hard alloys.
_*Aero industry background is strongly preferred *_
Ensure that processes of the *AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System are established, implemented, and maintained *in accordance with current certified standard(s).
*Primary Responsibilities*:
* Develop and deploy daily departmental metrics, goals and objectives in partnership with Director
* Coordinate, implement, monitor and update TOC plans, programs, targets, and initiatives
* *Conduct TOC lines daily*
* *Conduct 10 counts 3 to 4 times per day*
* Responsible for *directing the performance of the employees *who directly report to this manager
* Responsible for determining discipline, including termination of employees who directly report to this manager
* Responsible for interviewing and hiring employees
* Has the authority to execute or effectively recommend the foregoing actions regularly
* Develop intermediate/short range Departmental goals and objectives in partnership with Directorate
* Coordinate, implement, monitor and update plans, programs, targets, and initiatives; Develop schedule, quality, and cost metrics
* Manage direct reports; Provide programs with staffing; Delegate to direct reports or teams with direct reports to accomplish Departmental goals
* Works with other Managers to coordinate Division operations and activities
* Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and resources to meet Departmental goals
* Partner with HR and direct reports to resolve problems, complaints or grievances, and to plan and forecast staffing
* *Partner with Quality to align Directorate goals with Business Quality Management System (BQMS)*
* *Champion Six Sigma and facilitate lean initiatives*
* Develop and deploy management metrics
* Production with long-range resource plans
* May occasionally perform special projects; perform other duties as assigned.
*Knowledge and Skills:*
* Knowledge of *raw materials (Aluminum and Hard Metal)* *, Machining production processes,* *quality controls, and costs*
* Understand/use techniques for effective control of delivered quality, cost, and schedule in the manufacture of Primus products
* Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning and forecasting including people, material, and equipment resource allocation; corporate and human resource policies and benefits; leadership, teaming; and production methods
* Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
* Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
* Consider costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
* Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels
* Able to establish and communicate clear priorities and to influence others to support and act on those priorities
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
*Education and Experience*:
* *5+ years* related experience and *min 2 years in *a *leadership role*
* *Aerospace industry experience*
* *AS9100 quality system*
* *quality, cost, and schedule quality control, On-time delivery, *Budgeting/hiring/employee relationship/performance review
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
