Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager - Surgery Operations at Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital will report directly to the OR Director.
The manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care.
As a member of the management team, the manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
This role oversees surgical operations related to:
Ancillary support staff which includes Anesthesia Techs, Company store and materials, and
Orderlies
Endoscopy operations
Sterile Processing
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing required.
Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire required.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in Surgical Services.
Preferred Job Requirements:
At least 3 years’ of nursing leadership experience preferred.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration, preferred.
