Purpose of Position
The purpose of the Director, Program Management is to oversee complex initiatives that span multiple business units and departments.
This includes management of Project Managers, Business Leaders, IT Leaders and various Stakeholders to ensure that objectives are clearly defined, measured and achieved.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Management of program objectives, inter-dependencies, budget, risks and delivery schedules.
Partner with 3rd party program resources and industry experts.
Report program performance to Executives, Steering Committee and all Stakeholders-Ensure relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld.
Manage a team of project managers across multiple initiatives.
Change management required to achieve objectives and adopt new technologies, as required.
Minimum Education
Bacherlor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years’ experience as Program Manager for complex initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Confirmed successful management of complex initiatives to completion.
Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of an organization from executives to individual contributors.
Ability to build strong partnerships and influence decision makers as well as process and technology adoption.
Proactively understand functional business areas and how they interact/overlap with each other.
Strong Business Acumen.
