A Real Home Away is a small but growing property management company based in Edmond, OK but we are expanding to the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area.
We specialize in furnished housing so we setup houses for investors and then we manage them.
We are looking for a "jack of all trades" who can be our eyes and ears for these houses to help get them setup and to also with repairs and maintenance as issues come up.
Examples of our needs are as follows:
* Assemble furniture
* Meet furniture delivery trucks and help with placement of furniture
* Meet contractors or vendors at property
* Patching, painting, staining, repairing fences, caulking, replacing toilet seats, changing light bulbs, etc.
* Perform standard preventative maintenance on properties like air filter changes, dryer vent cleanings, etc.
* Perform repairs and visit the property when guests need assistance and be on-call for urgent repairs that need to be addressed immediately
* Assemble furniture and help setup new homes
* Portray a professional image when interacting with guests
* Install and program keypad locks
* Perform inspections on interior and exterior of home
* Help pick up and move furniture as needed
* Experience servicing appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC a plus
Requirements:
* Knowledge of general maintenance, preventative maintenance, plumbing
* Understanding of major mechanical components in a residential property
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
* Flexible availability, on-call rotating schedule for nights and weekends
* Successfully pass a background and drug screening
This is a part-time role as a contractor - this is not an employee position.
The work varies based on our need and when issues come up with houses.
However, we are expecting a steady pipeline of new houses coming in which could keep someone busy.
We can be flexible with scheduling but it is required that you be quickly available for emergency issues.
References will be required and a full background check will be conducted.
