JOB DESCRIPTION
FULL-TIME
Study Abroad Office daily operations and Stovall Center for Entrepreneurship programs.
The primary responsibilities of the Director of the Study Abroad Office and Entrepreneurship Programs related to the Study Abroad Office are to handle the management, marketing, budgeting and financial analysis, and reporting.
The primary responsibilities of the Director of the Study Abroad Office and Entrepreneurship Programs related to Stovall Center for Entrepreneurship include management of programs such as The Launch competition, forums, conferences, workshops, bootcamps, and international entrepreneurship study abroad initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle the management, marketing, budgeting and financial analysis, and reporting for the ORU Study Abroad Office.
Manage daily operations of the ORU Study Abroad Office, including application, enrollment, student advising, pre-departure orientation, inquiries, follow-up with students during the study abroad experience, assessment, monthly reporting, and other related activities.
Manage programs related to the Stovall Center for Entrepreneurship incl, including The Launch competition, forums, conferences, workshops, boot camps international entrepreneurship study abroad initiatives.
Assist the Executive Director as needed with the development of other local and
global programs such as incubators, accelerators, internships and certificates.
REQUIRMENTS
EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Masters in Business Administration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Requires at least 3 years of related work experience in an academic environment.
Excellent administrative, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and qualitative/ quantitative analysis skills are important.
Leadership and experience working with university students is essential.
Ability to develop and implement management and operational strategic plans is crucial.
Must be able to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and reporting.
Should be computer literate with experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Ability to effectively explain/ enforce university regulations, policies, and procedures is expected.
Experience with both academics and international missions are preferred.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality of information.
Maintains compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policy and its' procedures.
