Our Tulsa office is looking for a talented Sr.
Project Manager (SPM) to execute a variety of transportation assignments.
The ideal candidate will have a general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of the effects of other disciplines.
The SPM develops plans and reports for transportation projects according to established engineering standards and local, state, and/or federal policies and requirements.
Your Role: Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients Assess the requirements of a project, break the project into tasks, and work with the Department Manager to determine scope of work, budget and staffing needs Write a scope of work for transportation design services based on preliminary review and meetings with the client Manage and prepare engineering studies, schematic design and final design of highways, intersections, and roadways including plans, specifications and estimates Lead, assign, and review work of project design team; check progress of work and identify changes of scope or additional services Coordinate all aspects of project documentation within company and externally with clients Promote use of and participate in development of company design quality and production standards Act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and technicians; manage and mentor staff Acquire new projects from existing and potential clients Qualifications: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including ODOT Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills Familiarity with relevant transportation engineering codes and industry standards Working knowledge of stormwater and utility design a plus About Tetra Tech Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
