ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
Understands, articulates, and implements best practices for one or more supported applications.
Understands business needs, challenges, and objectives.
Conducts regular meetings to update stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Provides, plans, and performs research and designs assessments in the assigned specific technical area.
Conducts feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
Creates and maintains detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and defines project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Provides advice, support and guidance as needed and serves as mentor to colleagues.
Manages vendor relationships and negotiations.
Ensures solutions are operational 24x7 to meet our operational service level agreement with the business.
Establishes departmental operating metrics and key performance indicators.
Stays updated with industry trends and best practices related to solution development and management.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Build and Maintain Incident Response and Disaster Recovery Capabilities
Review and Maintain Cyber Security Policies
Evaluate and Assess IT Risk
Establish and Maintain Cyber Security Control Framework
Designs, implements, documents, and maintains security system infrastructure
Provides administration, documentation, and implementation expertise for data security best practices
Mentors less experienced staff in data security technologies and practices
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Advanced knowledge of RADIUS and LDAP technologies
Advanced knowledge of implementation, deployment, and administration of certificates and Public Key Infrastructure
Advanced knowledge of database security and use of Microsoft SQL
CISSP, CEH, or LPT certifications preferred
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Supervise/manage a department and provide input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or software development and at least (2) years of leading or managing projects or people experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience leading and managing the development and implementation of complex solutions required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge in project management methodologies and tools.
Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of business processes, enterprise systems, and technology landscapes.
Knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and team members
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
May require travel, including overnight stays.
