Welcome to Soaring on Hope, where it is our mission to make hope happen everyday! Soaring on Hope Pediatric Therapy Center is an outpatient pediatric facility located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We provide the following services to children from birth to age 21 in a state-of-the-art facility: Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA Therapy), Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech Therapy (ST).
The Human Resource Director will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, hiring, and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
The Human Resources Director will work step-by-step under the guidance of our Thrive PEO Human Resources team.
The Human Resources Director is expected to follow Soaring on Hope’s mission and vision in administering department services and fulfilling employer and employee needs.
Job Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree· 3-5 years of HR responsibilities and experience desired· SPHR Certification desired· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
· Proficient with computer skills and use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and/or other applicable software/databases· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn iSolved.
Duties and Responsibilities: · Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
· Provides support and guidance to SOH department managers, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
· Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Manages onboarding process with all potential new hires to include but not limited to: receiving appropriate documentation on potential new hires, completing background checks, etc.
· Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
· Manages new hire orientation program and training, to include introduction to SOH culture, policies, compliance and performance expectations, to ensure a seamless onboarding employee experience.
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence, and all other pertinent documentation.
· Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
· Search files, databases, or reference materials to obtain needed information and develop requested reports, including research, statistic and compliance reporting.
· Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
· Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
· Maintain employment files, ensure compliance, and complete reference checks and employment and/or compensation verification for authorized personnel such as financial institutions, credit bureaus, law enforcement, prospective landlords, etc.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
