L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems.
We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.
Job Description:
Primary job responsibilities are leading the Aeromet Finance team, analyzing program data, generating financial reports, conducting root cause variance analysis, and providing guidance and outlook on the financial status of the assigned programs to the Aeromet Management Team and internal senior leadership.
Additionally, will be responsible for monthly financial analysis and presentation of actual results compared to forecast.
This position works with the various business units' Operations and Finance personnel to develop and analyze operational improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Essential Functions:
Serve as Finance point of contact for the Aeromet Divison
Analyze data and prepare variance analysis as required
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports and forecasts
Management & Tracking of costs in the G/L
Establish, Manage, & Maintain indirect budgets including discretionary spend accounts
Indirect rate tracking and management
Convert financial data into meaningful business information for presentations to Senior Management and Group/Sector Leadership
Support the development and presentation of the annual and five-year plans.
Maintain the financial forecasting system and processes
Support the EAC review process
Review and approve pricing and proposal activity
Recommends and implements process improvements with regard to financial analysis and financial reporting
Familiarity and working knowledge of the various USG contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.
)
Special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting Business or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
MBA is preferred.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
8+ years of experience in a finance position is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word; Expert level in Excel is required
Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and time frames consistently
Ability to obtain security clearance if required
