The HR manager at TDW's Central Services location works closely with employees, managers, and other departments to support engagement, development, retention, recruitment, compliance, and compensation.
Responsibilities Include:
Provides day-to-day support to managers on employee development and growth, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
Executes TDW HR programs to serve the business with excellence.
Programs may include merit, talent review, onboarding, employee engagement, and well-being.
Partner with and coach business leaders to ensure employees are meeting company goals and objectives and that accomplishments are celebrated.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Collaborates with Total Rewards, legal, finance, and other teams frequently to drive continuous improvement and solve problems.
Provide HR support to multiple business lines and remote support to the Cypress, California, location.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business-related area of study, human resources preferred.
Strong understanding of US labor laws and employment practices.
A minimum of 5 years of HR field experience, including employee or labor relations.
Previous experience in a services environment is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across various functions, cultures, and teams to influence leaders and employees positively.
Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Spanish and/or ASL is a plus.
